Do you have a minimum order?

Our minimum order is $2500. Depending on bloom choices, this price point could include: bride’s bouquet, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 8 boutonnieres, 4 corsages, simple cake flowers, loose petals for the flower girl, design, and delivery.

Can I pick up my flowers?

We personally deliver all our designs. There is a strategy that goes into transporting flowers safely to an event and after spending many days with your flowers the very best part is handing over the bouquet to the bride.

What if I don’t know what kind of flowers to use?

April will personally show you what will be available at the time of your wedding and which specialty blooms will need to be ordered. We will go through color choices and bloom styles at your consultation. You don’t need to know the names of any of the flowers to enjoy them on your big day!

What’s the process of booking April Showers?

Use the GET IN TOUCH page to ask if we have your wedding date open. Once we hear from you, we will email you our wedding day floral questionnaire. After we receive your completed questionnaire an in person consultation is scheduled where we will discuss the design of your wedding flowers. It takes approximately a week for us to write your initial proposal which will be emailed to you with our contract attached. Once you are happy with the design, a 50% deposit is required to secure your date. The remainder of your payment will be due 6 weeks prior to your wedding date.

Where are you located?

We are located southeast of Lawrence, Kansas. We are available for Zoom meetings, but prefer to meet you in person so we can show you all the hard goods in person like vases, ribbons, corsage choices, etc. If you visit us during the summer you might be able to see some of the flowers growing on the farm and we make delicious lattes!

Do you travel?

Currently, we will travel within one hour from our home base in Lawrence. This services Kansas City, Kansas, Kansas City, Missouri, Topeka and surrounding areas.

Do you rent arbors and glassware?

Yes! We have a growing collection of arbors, brass candlesticks, votives, vases and flower stands. We also have a fabricator that builds custom pieces for us. If you can dream it, we can make it happen! All of our inventory is available to rent and we will deliver it directly to your venue or you can pick up and drop off these items.
